Canoe Joust - Bowers Beach

This year's canoe joust was once again a big success. Where else can you go and have this much fun? The object is to pick a three man team that will be able to defeat everyone else's team. The entry fee is $10 per person and the proceeds go to benefit the annual banquet for the Bowers Fire Company. Each team consists of three people 1 one each end of the canoe and the jouster in the middle of the canoe who stands and tries to knock the other jouster in the pond. It makes for a lot of fun to watch. Also there are lots of food vendors, games and activities for the kids, and live music and beer for the adults. We can't wait til next year!
