The van pictured was traveling south bound when it was rear ended by the tractor trailer. The van then crossed over into the north bound lanes and down into the woods. Then the driver of the van became trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated. The scene was under the command of 40-21 (Engine Captain Buddy Jackson). Engine 40-3, Brush 40, Rescue 55, and A-55 responded to this call. Units were on scene for approximately 30 minutes bfore returning to the station.
