Call was dispatched as a serious MVC with entrapment located on Bowers Beach Road, car vs. pole. Approx 1/4 mile east of Bay Rd the vehicle lost control and struck a telephone pole. There were two victims involved. The driver fled the scene and the passenger was transported to the hospital with a head injury. The scene was under the command of 40-15 (Chief Phil Pennington, Sr.) Units responding to this call were Command 40, A-49. B-49, Rescue 49, A-40, Engine 40-3, and Engine 40-2. Units remained on scene for approx 25 minutes before returning to the station.
