On December 12, 2008 we were dispatched to assist Station 49 on a three car MVC. The incident was located on Bay Rd and Bowers Beach Rd on the district line. Command was assumed by 49-15 who called in the accident. Engine 40-3, under direction of Asst. Chief Greek, went on location and secured Vehicle #2 and Vehicle #3. The crew from Rescue 49 secured Vehicle #1. After determining that there was only one patient from Vehicle #2, Command then placed the incident under control with units working. Engine 40-2, under direction of Asst. Chief Engineer Pennington, was advised to stage on Bowers Beach Rd. After extensive clean up, the vehicles were towed from the scene. Engine 40-2 and 40-3 then returned to quarters. We were on scene for approx 30 minutes with two engines and 10 personnel.
