Trailer Fire - Erica Avenue - Hight Point Park

On Monday February 16, 2009, Station 40, along with Station 49 and Station 55, was dispatched to a trailer fire at 349 Erica Avenue. The caller complained of a smoke smell in the residence. Command 40 (Phil Pennington Jr.) went on location establishing Erica Avenue Command. Orders were given to Engine 55-3 and Engine 40-3 to investigate interior and exterior conditions. All other units were ordered to stage. Interior crews reported to Erica Avenue command that the cause was a burned wire located behind the dryer. Erica Avenue Command then went under control at 1449 and all units were cleared of the scene at 1458. Units on scene included: Command 40, A-40, Engine 40-3, Engine 40-2, Engine 55-3, Tanker 55, Engine 49-1, and Rescue 49.
