Eight members from the Bowers Fire Company had the opportunity to travel to Ferrara Fire Equipment in New Orleans, to inspect the new trucks that they had built for our company. Here are a couple pictures of those vehicles. They're on the way to Delaware and they'll become part of our fleet to fight fire and protect the homes and businesses of our district. Thanks to everyone for your support of our fire department and having made these purchases possible. The trucks were taken to Easton MD for equipment mounting and to Parlett Signs in Wye Mills MD for lettering. They will be arriving at our station in a couple of weeks...stay tuned for their homecoming!
