The Bowers Fire Company and Ladies Auxiliary held our 9th Annual Canoe Joust today. We had a good turnout for a day filled with music, food, games, and of course JOUSTING! We started the day with 12 teams and jousted until we crowned our winners of the day which were Bubba Feague, Mike Killen, and Andrew Hall and their team name was This Cost Too Much. Coming in second was Big Buc Signs who were the defending champions and their team consisted of BJ Conard, Reese Buchman, and Ryan Sexton. In third place was S & R Customs and their members include Jesse Pillittier, Sean Roseberry, and James Lewis. A Special Judges Award was given to Stephanie Oxenford of Team Bayview Out for her efforts during the joust. Best Entry into the water was won by Andrew Hall of This Cost Too Much. The judges felt that the Best Sportmanship Award was won by BJ Conard of Big Buc Signs. Judges for the event were Jeff Morris and Jeff Dennison.
