On February 23, 2010 Station 40 was dispatched for an MVC with entrapment on Clapham Road and Bay Road. Command 40 arrived on scene under the direction of Rescue Captain, Mike Noble. Command 40 found a two vehicle MVC, head on collision with entrapment. Command 40 immediately called for additional BLS units provided by Station 49 and Station 55 to assist with patient care and transport. Also an additional Rescue was requested and provided by Station 55 to assist with extrication of patients from vehicles. Bay Road was shut down as a result of this MVC for approxiamately 30 minutes. BFC would like to thank DELDOT for their quick response in diverting traffic away from the accident scene so that we were able to get our job done more effectively.
