Bowers Fire Company assists in Memorial Service for Marydel Fire Police 56-30 , Frank McKinnon - Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover, DE

On July 22, 2010 Bowers Fire Company along with Smyrna Fire Company assisted in the Memorial services to honor Frank McKinnon who was a Life Member and current Fire Police for the Marydel Fire Company. The two companies crossed ladders at the entrance to Sharon Hills where the funeral procession entered the cemetery. Quint 40 was operated by Deputy Chief Willie Trowbridge along with Fire Recorder Frank Seibert. Marydel brought many of their apparatus as well under the direction of their Chief Buffy Madden. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Marydel Fire Company and the family and friends who will mourn the loss of Frank McKinnon. Please accept our sincere condolences and thank you for allowing us to participate in the services.
