The members of the Bowers Fire Co Auxiliary are saddened to report the passing of Honorary Life Member Alberta Morris. Alberta was a Charter member and Past President of the Citizen's Hose Co Ladies Auxiliary, She was also a Past President of the Kent County Ladies Auxiliary, Past President of the DelMarVa Ladies Aux, and President Emeritus of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Delaware Firefighters Association. She also served on numerous committees throughout her years of service. We bestowed her with an honorary life membership to our auxiliary in 1996 for her constant support of our organization. Arrangements are as follows: The viewing will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2010 from 7pm until 9pm at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home located on W. Commerce St just west of Sta 44. The funeral will be held Friday, August 6, 2010 at 11am. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time.
