Past Chief Pennington installed as President of KCFCA - Bowers Fire Company

On October 13th Past Chief Phil Pennington Sr. was installed as President of the Kent County Fire Chiefs Association. Also installed as Secretary of the Association was Shirley Pennington. Members of our fire company as well as other Kent County Companies were on hand for the installation. Bill Betts installed the new officers, he said it was his honor to do so as he had watched Phil grow up. The ladies aux served a great meal which consisted of Roast Beef, Mashed Potatoes, Mixed Vegetables, and Homemade Apple Dumplings for dessert. For those who preferred cake Phil's mom made a homemade cake as well for the occasion. Thanks to all involved who made this a special night.
