Station 40 dispatched to an MVC with a Serious Hemmorrhage - Whitwell Delight Road and Bowers Beach Road

On Monday, January 17th, Station 40 along with KM7 were dispatched to an MVC with a serious hemmorrhage located on Whitwells Delight and Bowers Beach Roads. Command 40 arrived on scene with Chief Phil Pennington Sr. to find conditions as reported. The vehicle had went off the roadway and into a wooded area. When Rescue 40 arrived on scene they were assigned to battery disconnect as well as assisting with patient care. Ambulance 40 arrived on scene and began patient care. Engine 40 arrived on location and assisted Bower's Fire Police with traffic control as well as debris removal and cleanup. Units were on scene for approximately 20 minutes. KM7 met A40 enroute to the hospital. There were full crews of 6 on both Rescue 40 and Engine 40 and a crew of 3 on A40. Total membership responding to the call was 29.
