Today Senator Carper and a few of his colleagues paid a vist to our station to see how we are going green. Bowers Fire Company in conjuction with the Town of Bowers were awarded two grants recently and the work is under way. One project consisted of changing all of our lighting in the building and the other is to put solar panels on the building. Both projects will conserve energy and save the company money. Thanks Senator Carper for recognizing us, we enjoyed your visit.
