The Governor has declared a State of Emergency for Delaware and a mandatory evacuation for the Town of Bowers by 7 am this morning. As a result Bowers Beach Road will remain closed until further notice. There will be crews at the Fire Station to respond to emergencies, but as the weather conditions become worse they may not be able to respond.
