This years Annual Firefighters Conference was held September 12th thru the 17th. As always the final event is the conference parade. this year Bowers took home 5 trophies total. They were as follows: 3rd Best Appearing Aerial for Quint 40, 3rd Best Appearing Rescue/Pumper for Rescue 40, 7th Best in Ladies Marching, and 7th Best in Mens Marching. We took 1st place in the Fire Prevention Float this year and it was the first year we had entered a float. A special thanks to Past Chief Bill Hall and Past Chief Jeff Morris for all their hard work on that project. Also we would like to recognize all those who spent many hours preparing for the conference parade. GO BOWERS!!
