Busy Day for Station 40 - Gas Leak/ Fall - Not Alert/ MVC with Injuries

On Friday, November 25, 2011, Station 40 was dispatched for a Gas Leak outside the structure at 421 Center Street in High Point. The scene was placed under control in a short period of time and units returned to the station. Ambulance 40 was then dispatched for a subject fallen and the subject was not alert, Trooper 2 was alerted for this call and Command 40 under the direction of Chief Phil Pennington set up a landing zone in the event that the patient needed to be flown. Rescue 40 assisted on this call as well and then patient was transported by A40 and all other units were returned to quarters. To round out the afternoon we were dispatched for an MVC with injuries at Clapham Road. Units that responded were Rescue 40 and Engine 40. Also dispatched was A55 (Magnolia) as A40 was still at the hospital from the previous call.
