On Sunday, July 1st, Charlie Walls passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. He was diagnosed five months ago with pancreatic cancer and sadly lost his battle. Charlie was very active in the fire service, he was a Past Chief of South Bowers Fire Company, a current Fire Police for the Frederica Fire Company, Past President of the County and State Fire Police, he also served on many committees throughout the years. Charlie was a great asset to the fire service and will be deeply missed by all. A viewing will be held Thursday, July 5th, from 7 to 9 pm at Berry Short Funeral Home in Milford and Services will be Friday, July 6th, at 11 am.
