On Tuesday, August 21st, Bowers Fire Company participated in a drill at the DAFB. Along with DAFB, there were many other units such as Kent County Paramedics, Kent General Hospital, DNREC, and many surrounding fire companies. There were well over two dozen pieces of equipment on scene. Kent County Levy Court was the staging area and units were dispatched to the scene from there. A triage area was set up for the numerous patients and as needed patients were transported to KGH for care. This was a great learning experience for all involved.
