Side Scan Sonar Bid Solicitation

Purpose: To obtain bids for a complete side scan sonar system to be used in Search and Rescue (SAR) operations.

Timeline: Qualified bidders will provide and deliver all components outlined in this document to the Bowers Fire Company Inc. prior to December 31^st, 2012.

Components: Side scan sonar system will consist of a dual frequency (approx. 600K/1,600K Frequencies) tow fish, a water and shock resistant laptop computer with sonar software installed, a minimum of 50 feet of tow cable, mapping software to map tow paths and mark targets with GPS capabilities, portable single page printer for printing sonar images, and a rigid storage case to contain all components with the exception of the laptop.
