On Monday, April 8, 2013 we celebrated 75 years with a Membership Appreciation Dinner. First Due BBQ was on scene with pulled chicken, beef, macaroni and cheese, potato salad, beans and rolls. We were joined by Charlie Boyer, DVFA President and Penny Rodiak, LADVFA President. Also in attendance were John Macklin and Sons Demolition, who returned our 1953 GMC to us, Kenny Warner of George and Lynch, who hauled our antique for us, and Tony Margerum of SWAB Wagon Company, who restored our antique for us. Chief Pennington and President Warner were on hand for remarks and photo ops. Past President and Chief Trowbridge prepared a slide show of our history which was enjoyed by all. Special thanks to Carlisle Fire Company for providing a stand by crew for us. Great night!
