Side Scan Sonar Training

On Monday March 11th, Bowers Fire Company Members attended training in New Bedford Harbor, Massachusetts. Vice-President Bill Hall, Deputy Chief Jeff Morris, Marine Captain Jordan Giuttari, and Firefighter Robert Trowbridge, attended an all day class covering theory, use, and maintenance of side scan sonar. All four members were awarded certificates of completion at the end of the training. The unit will be placed in service around the end of April.
