Photos posted with permission from the family. On 2/14/14 The Felton Community Fire Company, Inc. and Kent County Special Operations team were alerted for a horse that mistakenly fell into a pool. Rescue 48-1 pulled a draft from the pool to empty it while the KC Spec Ops members built a ramp to place in the pool. Once the water level was low enough the ramp was put in place and secured to allow the horse to walk up it. The following organizations operated at or had members assist with the incident- Felton Community Fire Company, Marydel Volunteer Fire Company, Camden-Wyoming Fire Company, Leipsic Vol. Fire Company, Bowers Fire Company Inc., Cheswold Volunteer Fire Company, Hartly Volunteer Fire Company, Kent County Special Operations Team, Kent County SPCA, Delaware State Police, and Chambers Towing.
