On March 27th at 0700 hours the Bowers fire Co. was dispatched to a vessel in distress. Upon arrival 40 Marine-1 Crew observed a 21' Mako research boat owned by the US fish and Wildlife service hung by its mooring line under the dock, The tide was at its peak so the vessel was not in fear sinking further. The Biologist in Charge of the vessel boarded it and cut the line which caused the vessel to float freely, Crews from marine 1 then deployed a dewatering pump and evacuated the remaining water.
