Friday, August 8, 2014

YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS THE BATTLE OF THE CHIEFS AT THE NEXT WING NIGHT IN MARYDEL. COME OUT AND SUPPORT OUR CHIEF AS HE TAKES ON CHIEF MORRIS AUGUST 8TH AT STATION 56....... The object is to eat as many chicken wings as possible within the allotted time of 8 minutes, along with eating one hotdog and a 1/2 pound of french fries. In the event of a tie, there will be an additional 2 minute eat off tie breaker. Contestants may eat either sitting orstanding in their designated area using hands. Contestants will be allowed to use and/or drinkonly the water provided during the competition. Contestants must complete eating one chicken wing before proceeding to the next chicken wing. Contestants must wait for the starting signal to begin eating and may not touch any Chicken wings prior to the starting signal. Contestants must stop eating and must promptly place their hands down on the table or at their side at the ending signal. Contestants may not put additional chicken wing or wings or portions of chicken wings in their mouths after the ending signal, but will be allowed 15 seconds to swallow any chicken wings already in mouth. If a contestant throws up or regurgitates, he or she will automatically be disqualified. Judges will be on hand to assure adherence to contest rules, weigh the amount of chicken wings eaten, monitor the “no throw up or regurgitating” rule, and to disqualify contestants who fail to adhere to the rules. Winners will be determined by weighing the remaining chicken wings. In the event of a tie, after a brief interval, 1 minute and 30 second eat-offs will take place until a winner is selected.
