Structure Collapse - High Point Park

On February 2, 2015, at 1927 hours, the Bowers Fire Company was dispatched to a structure collapse in the High Point Trailer Park. Command 40, Chief Jeff Morris, arrived to find a fallen medium size tree. The tree was laying against the roof line of the trailer. Chief Morris passed command to 1st Asst. Chief Robert Trowbridge who instructed the crew of Rescue 40 to stabilize the tree with rescue 42 struts. The crew of Quint 40 went to the roof and trimmed branches. Crews were on scene a short time removing the hazard. There was no apparent damage to the mobile home.
