Melinda has held the offices of Deputy Chief, Secretary, Financial Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Assistant Financial Secretary, and Ambulance Lt. During her membership she was awarded the John H. Williams Award and Most Ambulance Runs for Attendant. She is also a member on the Auxiliary side and has been awarded the Jeannine Dobry Award in 2007, Outstanding Active Member in 2007, and was in the Top Ten on many occasions. She became a Life Member in 2002. She aslo Serves as  the 2021 - 2023 President of the Kent County Ladies,
