Station 40 Dispatched to a Working Mobile Home Fire - 160 Willow Drive, High Point Park
Tuesday, January 31, 2012

On Tuesday, January 31, 2012, at 0310 hours, Station 40, along with Stations 55 and 49  responded to a working trailer fire in the 100 Block of High Point Mobile Home Park.  Upon arrival, Command 40, Deputy Chief Jeff Morris, reported a double wide trailer with fire through the roof on the bravo side.  Engine 49 advanced a 1 3/4  attack line to the seat of the fire.  A quick knock down was achieved.  The scene was placed under control at 0337 hours. Units remained on scene for one hour and 45 minutes.  This fire is under investigation by the Delaware State Fire Marshall's Office.
