Friday, December 5, 2014
It is with a heavy heart that the Bowers Fire Company announces the passing of our member Brittney Ford. Brittney passed this afternoon at 12:00. If you knew her you would know that her goal in life was to save lives as she was on the career path to become a firefighter/emt and make a difference. She will make a difference in death as she did in life by donating her organs. Brittney will be able to save multiple lives with this donation and in doing so her memory will live on through others. Our lives were truly blessed by this beautiful young lady and we will be forever changed because of her. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends and we hope that you keep them in your thoughts as well. Another angel received her wings and now she will watch over us as we carry out our lives here. We love you Brittney Ford, may you be at peace. Funeral Services are as follows: Friday, December 12th will be a viewing from 7 to 9pm at Station 40 and on Saturday, December 13th services will begin at 10am with a viewing, services at 11am at Station 40 and final call and interment at Barratt's Chapel beginning at noon.
